Mash Rhode is a Dublin based musician who has played guitar and sang for many years. He specializes in all live acoustic performances and brings new life to tunes from the Beatles, Rolling Stones,Paul McCartney,John Lennon, The Who, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Elvis Costello, Cast,The Zutons,Sting, Joe Jackson,The Jam,Paul Weller,Greenday,Christy Moore,Crowded House and many others.

We are delighted to welcome the great guitar player that is JeanChristophe Chevalier to the Buddy's bar stage...

Born in France in 1961, Jean-Christophe comes from a family of musicians. His parents took his name from Romain Rolland's character, a child from a modest family background who becomes a famous pianist.

In his case it's the guitar rather than the piano! He studied music at the University of Rouen and graduated in Musicology. He also studied Composing and Electro-acoustics at the National Music School of Dieppe.



Eclectic at heart, dabbling in everything, he mixes styles in an unlikely cross-breeding: Classical music, Celtic, Blues, Pop, Electro-acoustics... He is in love with the sound, in search of the absolute purity, the crystal simplicity which gives his music a force and a transparency able to transport the soul.
